Lori Munro Cures Kyle's Guitar Curse
By Dennis Michelsen
Throughout the history of sports many memorable curses
have lived! Boston Red Sox fans remember the "Curse of
the Bambino." Cub fans are still dealing with the "Curse
of the Billy Goat." The Cleveland Browns are still languishing
thanks to the curse of
well being the Cleveland Browns!
In the world of NASCAR Kyle Busch is happy to see the end
of the "Curse of the Sam Bass Guitar." Since the
infamous guitar smashing at Nashville Superspeedway Kyle Busch
had been winless at the Cup level and dropping like a rock
in the points. But RaceTalkRadio's Lori Munro has figured
out a way to remove the curse of the guitar!
Yes
the Curse is Real
Back on June 6th before the guitar was smashed at Nashville
Kyle Busch was in 6th place in points in the Sprint Cup standings
and over 100 points on the right side of the Chase. He had
won three times already and this looked as if it would be
another amazing year in all three NASCAR touring series for
Kyle "Rowdy" Busch. But a series of below average
runs have dropped Kyle out of the top 12 and with just a few
races left in the regular season it was becoming obvious something
had to be done to reverse the curse! Luckily for the fans
of Rowdy there is still time to turn things around thanks
to the art of Lori Munro. Yes the curse is real but thankfully
it is now a thing of the past!
Wild
Thing Guitar
Several weeks ago preparations began for a unique piece
of art called the "Wild Thing" guitar and a fourth
place finish at Watkins Glen showed the power of this art!
"Someone had to do something to reverse the dreaded curse
and I am just the right world-renown cartoon artist, dirt
farmer and radio host to do it," said RaceTalkRadio's
Lori Munro. Lori's artwork adorns the RaceTalkRadio website
and is also seen at the Sprint Car Hall of Fame in Knoxville,
Iowa. "Firstly, I am a Kyle Busch fan and I do like his
style," said Lori. "Thirdly, I knew the only way
to reverse the curse was to prepare another guitar to absorb
the bad tidings left after the destruction of the Sam Bass
guitar. Fifthly, there is no better track to unveil the guitar
than at the Music City Motorplex where this guitar trophy
thing started many years ago!" This week the "Wild
Thing" guitar will be present for the CRA Super Series
race at the old Nashville Fairgrounds track Sunday with Kyle
Busch racing for another win in his super late model.
Thank
Her Later Kyle
The so-called NASCAR experts will be talking about how
Kyle Busch was able to change his momentum and save his season
with a miraculous comeback to make the Chase. But race fans
you can display a smug smile knowing the real reason Kyle
went from 15th to 12th in the last three races to make the
playoffs. Will the positive mojo from the "Wild Thing"
guitar carry Kyle Busch to a title? It is possible race fans
and Kyle can thank Lori Munro by sending her a couple of cases
of NOS Energy drink! The "Wild Thing" guitar will
cure Kyle's guitar curse just in the nick of time.
