Gun Slinger Needs a Good Nickname
Fantasy Insight- Texas 2
By Dennis Michelsen
Howdy pardners! Ya'll need to get a hitch in your giddy
up and head on down to the big pasture called Texas Motor
Speedway. As these mean old hombres from NASCAR mosey into
town they will be facing off at high noon for the big showdown!
(Well it will be Noon in Anchorage, Alaska when the Green
Flag flies but
) Back in the day you needed more than
a quick draw to be the toughest hombre in town. You also needed
a clever nickname! Would anyone have been frightened if James
"Killer" Miller had been nicknamed "Buttercup?"
How about if Bill Hickok was called "Pokey" instead
of "Wild?" One good strategy for picking a winner
at Texas Motor Speedway is based on who looks the silliest
in a cowboy hat! But another great strategy is to pick a guy
with a great nickname! That is why Mark "The Kid"
Martin is my choice to shoot them six shooters after the race
this week.
Good luck
with your fantasy racing picks this week ya'll.

Crazy
Fact of the Week
Those that say redesigning the banking at Talladega is
too expensive to be an option take notice! Texas Motor Speedway
had two design changes after complaints by drivers. The track
was originally designed with dual banking that was replaced
in 1998 after changes to turn four failed to fix the issues.

Tony Stewart round out the top five drivers based on the ratings

as Texas.
