This Week in ASA - Listen
The
2011 Illiana Motor Speedway Late Model Champion and a visit with a
few ASA Member Track promoters who are sharing the holidays will highlight
this week’s edition of “This Week in ASA Racing.” Join
host Kevin Ramsell at 7pm Eastern on RaceTalkRadio.com. Blake
Brown is the 2011 Late Model Champion at Illiana Motor Speedway, an
ASA Member Track in Schererville, IN. The 20-year-old driver from
Franksville, WI won the title by three points over Eddie Hoffman this
season. He will be on to talk about his season and future plans. Bill
Rohzon from Havasu 95 Speedway, Paul Martin from Norway Speedway,
and Steve Beitler from Skagit Speedway will all be on to share how
their ASA Member Tracks are helping their respective communities out
this holiday season. These three are a great example of how the short
track community helps those in need.

Volkswagen Jetta TDI Cup winning rookie of the year honors. This
year the Cleveland, Ohio native won four times in F1600 competition.

Specialist of Joe Gibbs Driven Racing Oil will be this week’s

Mike Reichenberger is the 2011 Late Model champion at Norway Speedway,
an ASA Member Track in Norway, MI. Reichenberger also finished fifth
in the ASA Joe Gibbs Driven Racing Oil Member Track National Championship
standings. He will be on to reflect his 2011 season and give some
insight to the future of his career. Lake Speed Jr. is the Certified
Lubrication Specialist for Joe Gibbs Driven Racing Oil in Huntersville,
NC. Lake will be on to give some advice about winterizing your racecar
and talk about ASA Member Track National Champion Barry Beggarly’s
tryout with Joe Gibbs Racing.

Champion Owner along with the General Manager of Yakima Speedway
will be the our guests on tonight's show. Taylor Miinch is the 2011
ASA Truck Series Champion. He captured the title last Saturday night
in their season finale. The 17-year-old from La Mesa, CA will be
on along with his car owner Kevin Smith to talk about their championship
season. Smith is the 2011 ASA Truck Series Owners Champion as he
led his ATK Motorsports team to the title. Along with talking about
their championship season, Smith will also talk about the opportunity
that his team gives to young drivers who want to compete in the
ASA Truck Series. Steve Conduff is the General Manager of Yakima
Speedway, an ASA Member Track in Yakima, WA. Yakima Speedway recently
completed their 46th season of racing and Conduff will be on to
