Busch will give Gibbs Racing the most powerful lineup of drivers
in Nextel Cup. But JGR will also be switching to the unproven
Toyota brand next season. How big of a gamble is this for
Gibbs? Will adding one championship caliber team change Toyotas
fortunes for 2008? Will any of the Gibbs drivers miss the

29, 2007 - QUICK CHANGE
Tonights special guest; Mike Neff. Topics include; Is NASCAR
at a loss to limit the number of teams one owner can control?;
Some people had the audacity to suggest that the Bristol Cup
race was boring. For those people that just cant seem
to enjoy real racing what can we do to liven up the racing
product in NASCAR?; Jacques Villeneuve is Bill Davis Racing's
newest driver in the Craftsman Truck Series. Beginning at
September's CTS race at Las Vegas, the French Canadian will
drive the final 7 truck series races this season, the ARCA
race at Talladega and possibly a Cup race at the end of the
year as well. How do you think he will do in his new motorsports
career?; The Bristol Busch Series race was marred by a NASCAR
scoring error against Kyle Busch that cost him a chance to
run for the win. Busch was penalized with 77 laps to go because
NASCAR said he violated the pit-road commitment line. He had
to forfeit his second-place position, a penalty NASCAR later
said was incorrect. Busch had to drop back to 28th and he
finished 4th. What should've NASCAR done to correct their
error and is an apology enough for this mistake? |
