Greatest of Great American Races-Daytona 500
The old saying that everyone starts tied for last place isn't how we handle things here at Fantasy Insight. Our stats do go back to last season and the power ratings do a great job of narrowing down the contenders. But this time of the year we also borrow from one great piece of handicapping advice used at the horse racing tracks…equipment change. Just as a nag with a history of stopping in the final furlong can react positively to the addition of blinkers, a NASCAR driver can become superman when put in a better car. The opposite is true to so pay special attention to equipment changes in the first four or five weeks of this season as you fill out your fantasy-racing lineup.

Every week the raw data is analyzed to separate the pretenders from the contenders! Anyone earning 240 points or more in the Power Ratings total has a great chance. 100 points is a perfect score for each category with 300 a perfect Power Rating. The top ten drivers will be shown in each category but only Power Ratings over 240 will be shown.
