High Banks High Anxiety - Fantasy Insight Bristol
Brian Vickers has to be very pleased that several teams have dropped out heading to Bristol Motor Speedway. This is the final race with the Top 35 set by last year's points and despite being ninth in points Vickers is on the hot seat. He is not exactly known for his qualifying efforts and went home last August. Also full of high anxiety going to Bristol is the entire rookie class, which are all on the outside looking in for this year's Top 35. Guys like Hornish, Franchitti, and Smith get one more free start before having to qualify in on time starting at Martinsville. Everything happens fast at Bristol and some of these open wheel guys are in for a rude awakening at the world's fastest half miler! Last season the good folks at BMS gave us new pavement in the August race to go with the new car design. If crew chiefs figured out how to make these cars turn a little better this year look out for one of the best races in Bristol history! The high-banks of Bristol join with the high anxiety of NASCAR racing this week! Good luck with your fantasy picks.

Last Week's Results: Kobalt Tools 500 (3rd, 4th, 5th)
So much for my almost guarantee of Junior winning but I will take three top five finishes any time! Jimmie Johnson continued to struggle and we might see that trend even worse this summer when the tracks get hot and slick. The Outsider and Long Shot picks grabbed top ten finishes and my Struggling Star was outside the top 20 once again.
