Open Letter to NASCAR Owners / Sponsors from a Kenny Wallace Fan

3/25/08: SOZ Studios, MI - By Dennis Michelsen "DMIC" (RaceTalkRadio.com)

Dear NASCAR Owners and Sponsors,

Why are you doing this to Herman's Hackers again?

Can you give me one good reason you don't want to hire Kenny Wallace for a great ride in the Nationwide Series? Kenny Wallace fans have come to expect heartache since every deal that looks great ends up crashing and burning. Why oh why can't Kenny Wallace get a decent ride in the Nationwide Series? That is a question that we all lose sleep at night asking ourselves!

Sure Kenny has a ride but…

The season started so wonderful with three top twenty finishes with Armando Fitz equipment. Since those cars have never lit up the speedway consistently we knew it was Kenny Wallace's talent (and Mike Bliss') making them go extra fast this year! But once again Kenny's sponsor deserts him leaving me to think about that "Bee" that stung Kenny years ago!

Eight times in top ten in Busch points should be enough!

Kenny Wallace fans are used to frustration! We lived through those Eel River Racing days when the equipment didn't live up to Kenny Wallace's talent. One of these days we hope a sponsor and team will live up to their promises and Kenny will get another shot to show he is much more than just NASCAR's court jester! The talent in the Wallace family is not limited to just Rusty. Each of the Wallace clan got a heaping helping of talent to drive a stockcar. Kenny and Mike have just not gotten as many quality rides to show what they can do in NASCAR racing! Jay Robinson works his tail off but each week Kenny Wallace will be coming to a gunfight with a blunt butter knife and Herman's Hackers will be suffering again!

Tums? Maalox? Pepto Bismal?

Our only hope as Kenny Wallace fans is that a new sponsor is found to add money to Jay Robinson's organization! I suggest contacting every company that makes indigestion products because you can tell them honestly that us "Herman Hackers" will be going through a lot of their product as we watch this season!

Come on NASCAR teams/sponsors…give Kenny a break!

Sincerely,

Dennis Michelsen

PS: Maybe it is time for another Kenny Wallace telethon!
