	*Joe Castello* Joe Castello, native of South Florida, blasted the XM Satellite Radio airwaves for 5 years with shows "Wide Open on NASCAR Radio" and "Power Shift" before moving to RaceTalkRadio. Joe has been involved in the racing radio scene for most of his life. Growing up as a spectator and young driver at Miami-Hollywood Speedway, the local neighborhood drag strip, he was offered the position of race announcer at age 15. Joe used the opportunity to hone his skills both behind the microphone and the wheel of his race car. His racing career produced a track championship in 1995. In 1996, he was hired at Miami's #1 sports radio station where he developed the area's most popular motor sports talk show before moving to XM in 2004. Joe has made laps in everything from go-carts and stock cars, to an Indy car, while continuing to drag race as often as the busy motor sports schedule allows. He is known for his "no holds barred" opinions on everything, even motor sports.
